    Reserve early!
Conference fee does not include hotel accomodations.
You must make your hotel reservations separately from the conference registration. A block of rooms has been reserved for attendees at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island. The Ritz will sell out, so please reserve early by calling (904) 277-1100.

Be sure to identify yourself as part of the InformationWeek Conference to receive a discounted rate. Do not reserve your room via the Ritz web site as you will be unable to receive the discounted room rate.

Discounted Room Rate For Conference Attendees: $215
Hotel reservations at the group rate of $215 will be accepted until February 3, 2000. If you plan to extend your stay, the conference rate is available from March 1-March 10, 2000.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations will be assessed a $200 service fee through Friday, February 25, 2000. No refunds will be made after February 25, 2000. Substitutions within a company are acceptable.

    Who Should Attend:
The InformationWeek Spring Conference is an executive-level event for CIOs, senior IT and business executives. All registrations are subject to approval by InformationWeek, and participants must qualify to attend. A limited number of non-IS professionals may attend at an increased fee of $3,500. To find out whether you meet conference qualification criteria, please call 800-340-2011.
    Speaking Opportunities:
We are always interested in finding new speakers for our events. Our events are attended largely by senior-level IT and business executives. We are looking for CIOs, VPs of IS or other high-level IT and business executives who can speak to their peers. Almost all our speakers come from an end-user, rather than an IT vendor or consulting perspective. If you are interested, please send us an email with your (or your client's) name, title, contact information, area of expertise and speaking topics, and we will contact you if the fit is right for our program needs. Please send email to: Bethany Cooke (bcooke@cmp.com) or John Eckhouse (jeckhouse@cmp.com).
    Contribute To Content
If you have any ideas for the InformationWeek Conference program or would like to suggest or lead a "Birds of a Feather" discussion at the conference, please send a note to Senior Editor, Events John Eckhouse or Editor-in-Chief/Events Charles Pelton.
    Request For Proposal
Be a part of a live RFP! A group of preselected vendors will present their solutions for Toromont Industries Ltd.'s Web customer service problem live on stage before an audience of several hundred senior IT executives at the InformationWeek Spring Conference on Tuesday, March 7. Click here to read the RFP.
    Birds Of A Feather
Tap into your peers' intellectual capital during our informal "Birds of a Feather” sessions. Pre-register by choosing from among the following topics, or submit one of your own. Attendees will facilitate these casual sessions, which can cover an industry, a technology, or an IT issue.

    Tentative topics include:
Customer relationship management, benchmarking of the leading vertical exchanges, managing your career during the period of e-transformation, recruiting and retaining IT talent, outsourcing, e-commerce strategy, and globalizing your business.

To suggest a topic of discussion or volunteer to lead a session, please send e-mail to Charles Pelton (cpelton@cmp.com) or John Eckhouse (jeckhous@cmp.com)

    Companion Program
InformationWeek offers a companion program to conference attendee spouses and guests for a modest fee of $325.00. (Travel and hotel expenses are not included in the companion/staff registration fee.)

Companions are invited to attend receptions, meal functions, sporting and special events taking place at the InformationWeek Conference. Companions must be registered to attend these events and must wear their InformationWeek Conference name badge for entrance into all activities. Companions may not attend InformationWeek Conference sessions.
