Speaker Guidelines

Thanks for your interest in proposing a speaker for InformationWeek Events. The following titles will be considered as speaker nominations, CIOs, VPs of IS/IT or other high-level IT or business executives. Generally, our events team will not consider executives from IT vendors or consultants as speakers or panelists at our events because our attendees (CIOs, VPs of IS/IT and other high-level IT and business executives) prefer to hear from their peers who can address the subject from an end-user perspective. Again, our speakers are typically using the technology or service they are speaking about rather than selling it. If you are a vendor or consultant, please consider proposing a customer representative, as a speaker.

Due to the high volume of speaker proposals our event team receives, we are only able to reply to those speakers who are the right match for our programs.

Please note the following deadlines for speaker proposals:

The 2008 InformationWeek 500 Conference and Gala Awards
September 14-16, 2008, at The St. Regis Resort, Monarch Beach, Davis Point, CA

Proceed to complete a speaker proposal form.

Should you have any questions, please contact Rob Preston (rpreston@cmp.com).
