Flush With Victory

Poker ace Diego Cordovez is $569,000 richer after winning the $1.5 million Los Angeles Poker Classic in Commerce, Calif., this week. The co-founder and former chief operating officer of online tech-support software supplier Aveo Inc. also took the $293,000 top prize in the Poker World Series two years ago.

Cordovez says he sees many similarities in strategies "between the poker table and the boardroom." Aveo was sold in April. Cordovez hopes for a full house at his next venture: online poker site Primo Poker.
