First-Half Report On Tech Stocks

Qualcomm is the clear winner among the InformationWeek 100 so far this year. Its stock price is up more than 400% since Jan. 1. Why? Red-hot demand for chips and phones that use its code-division multiple access technology. Network Associates and Documentum, meanwhile, are down 78.6% and 74%. Network Associates warned of slower sales; Documentum reported low license revenue.
