Two of the newest landmarks on Carnegie Mellon University's Pittsburgh campus are the under-construction Gates Center for Computer Science and the three-year-old Collaborative Innovation Center, home to Google and other tech companies. The 200,000-square-foot complex will include the Hillman Center for Future-Generation Technologies.  The complex will include a 250-seat auditorium, offices, labs, and collaborative work space.  Pedestrian walkways will connect the Gates Center to existing buildings.
