An on-board image editor lets you correct red eyes, apply filters, and adjust color balancing on-the-fly.  This Micro Four Thirds camera has come a long way from its ancestor, the classic 1959 Olympus Pen. The E-91's retro styling belies its ability to shoot HD movies and record stereo audio in addition to making high-quality digital photos. Price: $799.  Panasonic introduced the Lumix GH1 Micro Four Thirds digital camera in May. Price: $499.  Sony's back-illuminated   Like the TX1, the WX1 features 10-frames-per-second burst shooting and a   Nikon CoolPix S1000pj includes a built-in projector that can toss a 40-inch image onto a wall up to about six feet away. The feature makes impromptu slideshows or sharing videos a snap. Price: $430.  In 3D mode image data is captured by twin lenses that shoot two different images of the same subject simultaneously then merges the left and right images in a single 3D image. The camera also has a 2D mode, which can simultaneously capture two images with different settings -- wide angle and zoom, for example. Price: Not disclosed.  Made for underwater or near-water photography, the WS80 is encased in a water-repellent housing. It shoots 10-megapixel images and HD video clips and has an image recovery function for rescuing accidentally deleted shots. Price: $249.  Waterproof to 16 feet, coldproof, and shockproof the W80 sports 12.1 megapixels, a slim 1-inch housing, a wide-angle 28mm lens, and HD movie capture at 30 frames per second. Price: $299.  Waterproof to 10 feet, shockproof, and freezeproof, this camera was made for capturing summer and winter sports. 10 megapixels. 3.6x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom.  Price: $279.  Waterproof to 33 feet, shockproof, freezeproof, and crushproof, this camera was designed to withstand up to 220 pounds of pressure in punishing wet or cold conditions. 12 megapixels. 3.6x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom.
