Chad Fulgham, CIO, FBI
Chad Fulgham joined the FBI in December 2008 to head up the Bureau's IT efforts. Many of the Department of Justice's major IT projects are FBI efforts, including the build-out of a new biometric system for law enforcement called Next Generation Identification that will cost $231 million this fiscal year alone.
Still under development: a case management system named Sentinel, consolidation of surveillance data management and analysis systems, and the expansion of a law enforcement data sharing system. Last year, the FBI led a consolidated e-mail effort across the intelligence community and instituted enterprise software licenses. Fulgham's background includes IT management roles with Lehman Brothers, IBM, and JPMorgan Chase. He's also been a consultant with Anderson and worked in IT for the Navy. |
