Audio giant Sennheiser has amped up its line of travel headphones by adding CSR's aptX, an audio codec that optimally compresses the signal and streams it back in real-time over Bluetooth. The technology also appears in products like Samsung's Galaxy Tab and the Mac Lion OS.

At Mobile World Congress this week, the company was showing off its MM 450x travel headphones, with Sennheiser's noise cancellation (called NoiseGuard) and other headphone features, including the ability to instantly shut down audio, so you can hear other noise (called Talkthru) and change music tracks.

The MM 450x includes an embedded microphone so users can make phone calls using the headphones.

The product will be available in March, starting at 320 Euro. In my short time with the product, I was surprised by the tremendous quality of the headphones.
