A Best of Interop finalist, the NetOptics Spyke family of network and performance monitoring products allows network managers to peer inside application packets and plug visibility holes in monitoring infrastructure. While conventional network monitoring approaches inspect only packet headers, Spyke lets users instantly identify how Web and VoIP applications are actually used, helping to quickly categorize and diagnose performance issues. Spyke allows users to reduce complexity without sacrificing the granularity and details needed to keep networks running smoothly. Spyke's data gathering spans from high-level key performance indicators to low-level packet capture for quick problem detection, diagnosis, and resolution, giving IT the ability to detect and fix network problems using true application identification and analysis before business or service delivery are degraded.
