Colleges and the military don't have a lock on "find your long-lost buddy" sites. The newest one is for convicts--current ones and alums.
Convicts reunited .com, with about 200 registered users (both the convicted and the curious), offers an online search for old prison pals. Chat-room topics range from wrongful convictions to prison food. The site invites users to share old times or work together on new ventures "whether you're a fully fledged jail-bird or a mear sic speeding fine holder."

It's about bringing big data analytics, mobile, social, marketing automation, cloud computing, and the app economy together to launch new products and services. We're seeing new titles in this digital revolution, new responsibilities, new business models, and major shifts in technology spending.
Join InformationWeek’s Lorna Garey and Mike Healey, president of Yeoman Technology Group, an engineering and research firm focused on maximizing technology investments, to discuss the right way to go digital.
