After seeing Her, I'm definitely a lot more interested in the potential for a digital assistant, but the functionality is going to have to take some major leaps before I see it being useful in a way that's faster than just looking up the information yourself - especially if you're not a fan of Bing.

What's in a name?
"Cortana" makes me nostalgic for the naming simplicity of Microsoft Bob. I wish these digital assistants could call people who aren't listed among my contacts. That would be worth having.
