should work for cellular
Why allow Autoplay to be disabled only on WiFi when its on cellular that the data of a video has an actual impact on billing?

Perfect
Thanks didn't know this and hadn't had a chance to dig through the options yet. Good to see there's an option in there as would have been annoyed if my data had gotten chewed up by the auto-vids.

You can enable it to play only on WiFi instead of both WiFi and cellular data.

Some people have no way out!
Is this still being rolled out to all users? My friend does not have a video tab option in her settings. She desperately wants a way out of auto-play!

Re: Some people have no way out!
I verified today, that my IOS device 5S - Can OPT OUT of auto video streaming completely.

Not just when it's not connected to WiFi :)

The key thing to remember is on your IOS device, you don't open up the Facebook App itself, and then try to disable the video stream. You have to do it outside of the facebook App via IOS settings app.

So you find your IOS settings - then scroll down to Facebook -
Then click the " Settings >" line.
It will take you to the IOS facebook settings
Then click "Auto-Play" and then  you have the following 3 choices
"On"
"Wi-fi" only"

"Off"

Hopefully this helps you.

I hate autoplay
I was able to turn it off on my iPhone 4s - the options were On, Wi-fi only, and off.

I hated that "feature" as soon as I noticed it.  So annoying when I paused on a video, then I see it start to play.  Was this really an intended feature, or just a bug they decided to document?
