In my opinion this may not be quite comparable to AWS/Google/IMS. Centurylink seems to be more focused on cloud storage but AWS is mainly focused on PaaS. For Google, its Google Apps is more like SaaS. The action mentioned in this post is really impressive but I don't know how good is the gross margin.

"We've doubled our public cloud capacity in 140 days," - given that it wasn't a small provider, that's impressive. It also sounds expensive. Do you think the traditional enterprise co-lo buyers are subsidizing this expansion and price slashing? And, even with these cuts, are they really comparable to AWS and Google/MS?
