re: Apple To Reveal Big Cloud News In NYC?
"Media" could mean video, and I'm hoping Apple will reveal its strategy for revolutionizing TV. I'm guessing the company will debut a reasonable monthly subscription fee that allows you to download whatever TV shows you want from whichever "networks" you choose, thereby all but eliminating the need for cable or satellite TV service, with the possible exception of "live" content. With recorded shows, your system could pre-fetch them during off-peak hours, and you'd "order" them just as you would set your DVR to record shows. "Live" shows might simply be streamed.
