Great app to complement Salesforce
I've been having some issues finding a decent caller ID solution for Salesforce up until recently, and I figured I'd share some of my experience with anyone who might have run into a similar issue. Klink (www.klink.com) is pretty handy, especially for mobile professionals.

It's super functional and includes social media data for anyone who calls you. Plus it's got the ability to identify millions of callers who aren't in your address book or in your Salesforce database. It also has an "update Salesforce" feature, which is pretty helpful especially if you're away from your desk a lot of the time. It's worked really well for me so far - I hope this is helpful for anyone else with a similar need!

Re: Salesforce: How are you supporting disconnected mobile app usage?
Good point.  While the flexibility of the front-end support across multiple platforms is a huge selling point, it really does rely on the back end to ensure that the functionality is still key.  A mobile sales team is only as strong as their ability to properly do their job, and if the back end isn't responsive enough to keep up regardless of how it's being connected to, there could be a significant tradeoff.

Salesforce: How are you supporting disconnected mobile app usage?
Funny Salesforce should highlight this disconnected-mobile-app thing just a day after Couchbase introduced its Couchbase Mobile platform with support for offline operation. So Salesforce, whose embedded database are you using to keep the Salesforce1 Mobile App humming whether it's on a network or not?

Nice updates
These are some very nice updates, Salesforce is realizing that the best way to get more of their clients deeper in their programs is to have their mobile programs offer deeper access.

Sincerely,

Misty
