Batye, what I understood is, so far they hadn't good business. So, for attracting more customers they made it like that. They will make the delivery within 20 minutes; otherwise its free. May be in future they may change that too.

Batye, in my place the maximum deliver time is 20 minutes and there after its free.

I am sure the reason the sales rep was so generous was in hopes of keeping our business, it wasn't purely from the kindness of his heart. But, I wouldn't consider it bribery.

You have a good point. I have worked with people that have that mindset. I was called a "brown noser" because I bought my boss a Christmas gift. Then when I got a promotion, the talk around the office was that I got the promotion because I bought the boss a gift. (They never even stopped to consider the hard work and long hours I devoted to my job.)

Batye, I think for Pizza and certain other brands, there are certain time frame with in which its get delivered in hot condition. Otherwise its free.
