Handoff
The Handoff feature on the new OS X Yosemite's Continuity is pretty awesome, so it's the Instant Hotspot. I'm jealous.

Games!
I believe that Swift and Metal will be two of the most important introductions this year. We've been on our way to seeing the iPad becoming a gaming console, while being so much more. Last year, the A7 chip, and the controller API's began the move down this road. This year, this new software and the A8 will be several more steps along the way.

Apple introduces era of the Omni-channel self at WWDC

What we saw from Apple is their belief and full support of a movement towards an omni-channel world, both for consumers and the enterprise.  From being able to start your phone call on your cell phone and then continue or finish it on your MacBook, or rather leverage your MacBook as your speakerphone.  Apple is clearly looking to fulfill the global demand for omni-channel products and solutions.  In one way, what they are doing is similar to what Amazon has done in letting you start your purchase on your mobile device and then finish on your desktop, laptop.  They have introduced the "Omni-channel Self".

It's not just about shopping, or productivity or entertainment. Apple is now connecting you to your health, home and family on a real-time basis.  Meanwhile, they are setting up a platform for you to benefit from a wearable device. Apple is creating a platform that unifies health, home and family in one device, one manufacturer and one self.

"Omnichannel" is becoming the new star of tech buzzword bingo. The new "pivot." The new "the ask." Discuss. Can't we find a simpler way to say omnichannel?

I am not good at inventing new bingo, especially in English.:-) But I do like the way Apple proceeds - opening the bridge between mobile OS and desktop OS. This bridge is important - you can move around your mobile device and desktop freely without facing obvious trouble.
