Re: Bangkok Airways
Let it be know that I work for IBM.   My x86 group at IBM (soon to be Lenovo) has an amazing amount of expertise in successful Hana deployments.   The talent and the high end x86 server known as x6 has been a recipe for success.  Our offering is appliance like but there is a need for ongoing maintenance as software upgrades are constant.  Let us know how we can help.

Re: Bangkok Airways
Not many hardware details, other than to say that it made things a bit more challenging as there was limited Hana expertise and fewer supporting hardware supplier options in the southeast Asian market in general. SAP execs mentioned at Sapphire that they are supporting both scale-up and scale-out deployment, depending ont he needs and charachteristics of the deployment.
