The shift is great and was bound to happen anytime soon with the growing nature of the tablet, technology geeks had to rack their brains and give us a better version of our desktops. Less bulky, touch screen operated, Bluetooth and all, it had to be made. I agree with Daniel that you have to remind all these people to get past all this hype and think about the efficiency of these improved versions of the desktop.

Choice
I think its fair to give consumers PC choice. They should not be stuck with either expensive Mac devices or cheaper Windows PCs. It's time to get past all of that. And based on this Computex report, this is happening.

And I applaud that shift. It's better for anyone who buys a device. The question is if the average consumer will be able to get past the hype and focus on the pure function of a product.
