Re: Well played
I would like to see the star trek academy.  I'm sure this will get very popular among younger audience with the introduction of drama among the member of the academy.  I thought there was a rumor about somehow the member of the star trek somehow end up in the  star wars universe.

New life to the Death Star
Not really jonesing for a Star Trek show. It's been done and done well. The rebooted movies have been great entertainment too. Star Wars, on the other hand, bring it on. The franchise has so much to proof after the hot mess that was Episodes I - III. The Death Star is a necessity too. I don't care if the evil empire is dead broke from having to rebuild it yet again -- the Death Star is in the picture, this time with free Wi-Fi and over 500 Starbucks on premise.

Re: Well played
@Pedro- I think it would be fun to see a spoofy Star Wars-Star trek cross over. But you've got a problem there. If Star Wars took place a long time ago in a galaxy, far, far away for 1970's America, then 24 century Star Trek earth is even farther away.

We'll have to send the Enterprise through a worm hole or something. :)

Re: New life to the Death Star
@Shane- Yes, let's stop doing the things we've done well in the past. :)

No, I get it. But honestly, I'm at the point where Next Gen seems dated. I could use some new Enterprise adventures.

And i love the idea of Starbucks overwhelming the Death Star. Since the Soviet Union was always called the Death Star and it was overwhelmed by capitalism, it would be fun to watch the same thing happen to the other Evil Empire. :)

Ha! I think Putin is like whoever the bad guy will be in Episode VII, someone we'll never think is as cool or evil as Darth Vader. :)
