Good point. I actually wonder why Twitter is succombing to such pressure. We certainly don't see Facebook doing that.

Twitter's reputation may not last
If Twitter keeps censoring accounts under political pressure, its reputation is bound to suffer. It's hard to censor without taking sides and once you take sides, trust erodes.
