Amazon definitely falls short in terms of performance. Partly, I think that they put too much focus on costing, and, well, keeping costs down that they forgot to come up with a product that's value-filled and worth its price.

Special plans
I wonder if AT&T, which does not offer an unlimited data plan, might sweeten the pot for buyers of an Amazon phone? Intriguing.

Amazon Phone
While Amazon's Kindle Fire is an adaquate E-reader it's propriatary Silk browser and other internet connectivity/surfing features are dismal. If their new phone can't deliver the kind of ease of use and reliability that Apple and Samsung have delivered it will be a flop.
