That's good to hear. Seems like it presents itself for a nice ecosystem for consultants & VARs to capitalize on.

HP continues to distance itself from Oracle
Ever since HP switched its own opertaions from Oracle CRM to Salesforce.com, it's moved further and further away from Oracle applications. A Workday consulting and integration business makes sense for HP in the same vein.

HP knows there's lots of work to be done. When HP deployed Workday HCM, it integrated the cloud-based apps with more than 400 other systems, including payroll and benefits systems in many countries and bunch of other on-premises and cloud-based applications.

Integration remains a big challenge for cloud initiatives, makes sense that HP wants in on that business. Companies have these systems in place, now they want to do more with them.

Other partners taking Workday under wing...
In case you had any doubt, this is a non-exclusive partnership. Other consultant-integrators for Workday include Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte, IBM, KPMG, and PWC, among others. Oh, and software partners include ADP, Ceridian, Cornerstone, Kronos, Microsoft, Okta, Salesforce.com, and IBM's Kenexa unit. Bottom line? Workday is well connected.
