About time
When I read this, my first reaction was to be surprised that LI didn't already have this functionality!

Re: About time
Really surprised that a company of LinkedIn's stature would release a significant app like this as iOS-only when Android's smartphone market share is over 50%.

Re: About time
Some of these features are available on the mobile version of its website and in its main mobile app, but not all. Seems handy to have a place to easily access saved jobs and check up on the status of your application.

Re: About time
Agreed. I'm amazed when anyone releases an app that only works on one or the other (specifically iOS) since there is such a split in the market.

However, I'd imagine that most people applying for jobs will want to do it on something a little more capable than a phone, since making tweaks to a CV or penning a good, custom cover letter isn't exactly easy on even the most advanced smartphone.
