Hi Kurt. A good summary of Micron and Steve. I remember when I worked there that same time period, and our paths even crossed a couple times in product development. Steve was a good person to me and those around me. He will be missed at Micron. I too moved on from Micron, but have memories of "working on the line" with him in the early days. You are correct, that his legacy will live on at Micron.

I bought 64 of those 64kb chips in '84, they went on an S-100 card that I had to assemble. It gave us a whopping 4mb ram disk on our computer running cp/m.
