@Laurianne even with view settings. I assume that anything I post may be read by anyone. I bear in mind the same thing someone told me about committing anything to writing -- even an email : "Don't put in anything that you wouldn't want on the front page of the New York Times."

Yep, pretty much. A lot of people think of the Internet as a platform for self-expression, and it can be-- but it's getting hard to escape the reality that it's also an endless job interview, where every post or tweet (or at the very least, every one made outside a confined network) has to be viewed almost as a potential audition for someone else's approval.

I still can't believe how many people leave their FB posts wide open to the public. Just asking for trouble. What do you think of this aggregation technique, readers?
