Re: Drive For Work
Normally, an unlimited offer is usually accompanied by a fair usage policy. While, at other times, there is a natural barrier that enforces a fair usage policy, for instance, if businesses on average have a 10Mbit/s (upload) connectivity speed, then it would require around 10.5 days transferring a 1TB file into the Cloud. Under the assumption, that the cost to provide 1GB of SDS is 1 cent -- 1TB equals to $10 a month.

I agree, unless data communication technologies advance -- the storage price war is over.

Re: Drive For Work
I'm not sure how giving away your product is a way to establish financial viability. I mean, sure, in a properly managed data center, storage capacity can be pretty cheap. But going all-you-can-eat in the day of massive media libraries while you're in the crosshairs of the likes of Amazon and Google seems like an iffy move.

Our results suggest IT leaders should worry less about whether they're getting enough resources and more about the relationships they have with business unit peers.
