Salesforce has been known in the past for pre-announce/re-announce syndrome. It was very refreshing last year when it announced and actually introduced Salesforce1 -- GA -- on the same day at Dreamforce. In fact, the mobile app and platform was already in use. And if we don't sense a lot of interest, maybe we'll quietly forget about it or morph it into something else.
