Re: laerning from Apple
Not a big fan of Windows 8. I really liked what Microsoft did with Windows 7, but then again you have to remember Vista was not so great either. It seems as if Microsoft is only able to really produce a consumer friendly new OS every other iteration.

They should rethink how they release Windows with that in mind. If they want to experiement, I think that is fine. Problem is, experimenting with a wide consumer release has not worked well for them.

Windows 7 users
"Microsoft might have trouble convincing Windows 7 users to upgrade"
Would you call enticing a free upgrade?
I would jump in a heart bit from Windows 7 to 9 if it were a free upgrade.

Wouldn't you?

Virtual Desktop
The virtual desktop is really something charming to have. When I work with Linux, I love the virtual desktop capability very much. It made it much easier to run many desktop applications simultaneously. If it can be added to Window, that would be really great.

laerning from Apple
Apple never sends out security patches, right? They are always labelled as "upgrades" so the Apple fans can beieve that their beloved vendor never has security problems. Microsoft is simply following suit.
