Re: NYC Dining Options
This list goes nicely with Dave's list of Geeky Interest Points from the other day (and I'm sure that was the intention), so great timing on that one. Let's be honest here - half the reason we go to any convention is for the food, and I'm certainly not talking about the ten dollar slices of pizza at the convention centers. In fact, I remember Curt  (Franklin) admitting  once that this was secretly his motivation for travelling all around the country to cover events - this was some time ago in the comments section back on Enterprise Efficiency, if I remember correctly.

At any rate, I'm a member of that club myself, and while I don't think I'll be attending Interop this year, I'm certainly salivating over these food options. They say New York is 'the city that never sleeps', and while all Dave's geek sites sounded great, I have to admit the main thing that expression brings to mind is how jealous I am of all the great food New Yorkers can probably get at all hours of the night. Where I live, I'm lucky to have a couple of questionable chinese places open after-hours. On  the other hand, they get all these great upscale sit-down places you list, too. Seems like a win-win.

So Hungry!
Susan, such a great list! I love eating in NYC - and knowing the spots close to Javits is key!
