I can barely keep track of my keys
For me, the problem with wearables is they'd be scattered all over the house.

Re: I can barely keep track of my keys
I think you have to be really passionate about wearables and data analysis to approach anything close to what Dancy is doing. Most people are too busy getting through life. For me, tracking my runs via the Nike+ app is enough for now. But sleep tracking analysis interests me -- either via sensor or wearable device.

Will your wearable camera someday tell you whether you made your significant other frown or smile more that month? Let's hope you can track that yourself -- without data.

Unfortunately, self-marketing in the social media age seems to involve taking extreme positions and documenting them.

In a nutshell, yes.

And if you're having trouble sleeping, I find this works for me: Do something athletic in the evening. I've been doing taekwondo for a while now and sleeping after a workout is never a problem.

@ thomas. I agree. After a good workout I sleep like a baby.  I think what we should learn from his experience is that my monitoring ourselves we can discover pattern to help us live more productive likes. One doesn't have to buy fancy sensors; a person can start by logging their activity on a journal.
