I realize cloud computing's benefits and maybe this is old school thinking, but I fear too much reliance on the cloud. I think if we ever have to withstand technological terrorism where Internet becomes unavailable for any length of time, folks reliant on cloud computing for healthcare IT are going to see cataclysmic consequences. I know the same holds true for out of state data centers and anything that relies on the Internet for connectivity.

Again, it's probably super old school to say, but I still like an old fashioned onsite server farm.
