re: HTC Smartphone Blockade Racks Up Victims
I am an Apple fan since early 90s. I personally think even if it is a valid patent, Apple should NOT go for blockade of any product. Just like MS or Oracle they could impose $10-$15 fine against each handset sold. This practice has extremely negative long-term impact on competition. Both Apple and HTC do us (consumers) a favor and try to settle their dispute without involving any regulatory bodies.

If it's a valid patent then Apple should defend it. If it's patent trolling then give it up. I don't know enough to judge. But HTC has options here too. Pay a license fee if warranted.

I doubt Jobs is rolling in his grave. He's primarily responsible for initiating these actions through his well publicized desire to obliterate Android off the face of the planet.

Our results suggest IT leaders should worry less about whether they're getting enough resources and more about the relationships they have with business unit peers.
