Excellent points in this article. Additional differences that "cloud" comparisons of vendor offerrings are some clouds include performance monitoring, security monitoring, patching and enhanced help desk services. Federal government community clouds have to be independently audited for security compliance by Fedramp.

Really a great article show how difficult it is to compare cloud offers! If you need to compare cloud providers try www.cloudorado.com - a service which we created to help with it. Comparison of cloud providers is extremely challenging task as some resources are difficult to compare (like CPU) as well as there many options which can be applied, like reserved instance, subscriptions, packages, etc. It helps with first pre-selection.
