I would have to agree with you in regards to keeping up yourself challenged. That is why in the IT field it is not uncommon to see someone switch and work for 6-10 different companies through out the span of their career. It keeps people in the IT field constantly learning and gaining knowledge and experience. Staying with one company is becoming a thing of the past, unless that company is constantly evolving their technology and keeping you on your toes. Great article!

The common theme of all this advice is to keep learning and growing. It can be hard to find the time to just experiment, but no matter what career you are in, you need to find something that can keep you engaged.
