Sure sounds interesting but can't we achieve the same level of Scanning at much cheaper cost by retro-fitting existing Technology for this purpose?
You know Satellite Technology or Drone Technology?
Or Automated Car Technology?

It will turn out way -way cheaper and more cost-efficent than laying Sensors all along the Major Inter-state Highway System in the US or Globally.
