re: Facebook Organ Donation Scheme Fizzles
It seems to me that they just need to engage more with Facebook to help get education out about being an organ donor. Sometimes we just have to keep these things in the public eye until we do move the needle. Regardless of how much of a long term effect Facebook can have on this important issue, there are now at least 5400+ new organ donors which is better than nothing.

re: Facebook Organ Donation Scheme Fizzles
I don't see this as a "Facebook Fail" as much as a consistent fail to educate to educate the public of the benefits -- and the myths -- behind organ donations.

There are literally people out there that are under the assumption that if you sign up to be an organ donor and end up in the hospital, the Doctors there will not work as hard to save your life.

That being said, it would be nice to see more notifications / ads on FB about becoming an organ donor than the latest farm or mobster game.
