With all of these vast amounts of data being thrown at clinicians, we have to find better ways to display the data so that it's easier to intepret. Even today I've seen many patients bring in their daily weights, glucose readings, bps, etc and unfortunately it's not always presented in a way that's easy to understand in an under 15 minute long appointment. I hope that along with all of this research, comes better business analysis to help with the influx of the "big data".

I love the Gretzky quote! How true. This world of Big Data and Analytics brings on passionate debate of privacy, etc. However, we all seem to jump to the negative side rather than the valuable side of the equation so fast. Healthcare has come a long way due to technology, now let's make the encyclopedia of data available to our healthcare providers to make those split second decisions. Read more here -->
