re: Amazon's Share Of Government Cloud Computing 'Accelerating'
Despite initial concerns with cloud security and federal regulations, Federal agencies are finding ways to be successful in the cloud. Kundra credits the cloud, among other factors, for changing the federal government's approach to technology and ultimately saving money delivering services faster and making customers happier. Even the U.S. Army is moving to the cloud. One of our partners is working with them in their first ever cloud computing contract to consolidate servers and optimize IT with fixed and containerized data centers. Even the military can no longer ignore the cost savings in the cloud.
