I have a Sammy Slate 7 and ran the test to see if it is upgradeable. It is, as the article states, but will not be capable of delivering the normal Win 8 experience, or words to that effect, because the screen isn't as sensitive to touch as Win 8 devices are supposed to be. Fine, I'll keep Win 7. I think it is a good OS.

I don't know - the Surface has all the prereqs to be a fantastic tablet - if it takes off, Intel will do just fine. It's only existing tablets that have the issue and the sales of those have been pretty lackluster.
