Agreed. I might also add that the higher pixels count doesn't mean much when all Android tablets are running stretched up phone apps on those tablets!

Not too long ago Apple stated that anything below the Retina display ppi just stinks. And now that they lag behind compared to other competitors the ppi and display quality out of a sudden no longer matters? All righty then, so which marketing blahblah comes next?

"Good enough" is subjective, but I can tell you the display on my iPad 2 is very nice. I don't feel I'm missing a thing. Text is crisp and graphics are beautiful. I'm sure higher res is even nicer, but the fact the smaller iPad packs the same 1024x768 into an even tighter area will mean it looks even nicer than the iPad 2. That, plus the attention Apple pays to brightness, color accuracy, and now the new display closer to the glass, I'm sure it'll look really nice.
