This is nonsense. Mozilla is a web browser organization. Their future is locked up in the web. What can we expect from them?

But native apps will always be better. Web apps are limited. They must work on all systems, like Java, and so they are less optimized, and slower, often depending on a good connection to work well. I would prefer a native app anytime, and so would most people.
