re: Feds To Use Social Media For Biosurveillance
With so much data available via social media, projects like this will have no shortage of data to mine. The real issue, as with all Big Data is trying to find a way to to make meaningful use out of it. At first glace I had privacy concerns, but reading on I found that it would only parse publicly available data. Hopefully the scope will stay on just public data.
