re: Samsung Slammed Over Labor Abuses
So am I reading this right, Samsung has not really made any changes just a bunch of promises? Is it just me that this is shocking, meaning in 2012 we are still dealing with workers who are being mistreated? I think Samsung is trying to make their standards appear that Samsung has standards that exceed ;labor laws, when in fact it is just a show up front, same stuff behind the scenes. Here is an idea Samsung instead of demanding labor laws, why not enforce labor laws with your suppliers. If they are nit complying then Samsung should not be using those suppliers. Watch how fast the suppliers abide by the labor laws when their bread winner refuses to do business with them....just a thought!
