While I'm not necessary certain that the recommendations of OIG, it's reassuring knowing that there is some sort of oversight of CMS and that eliminating fraudulent payments has been made a priority early on. With EHR being so relatively new, precedence has to be made now that proper supporting documentation must be required, especially with such large payments being issued.
