re: How Samsung Galaxy Note II Won Me Over
Nice review. The Note II after being knocked around for its phone/tablet size seems to be gaining momentum. I'm thinking the II and the Google private play store for the enterprise might be an interesting combination for business

re: How Samsung Galaxy Note II Won Me Over
I quite agree. After carrying a Note (first generation) for 8 months, and mostly liking it, I inevitably found myself wondering if I wouldn't have been better off with an iPhone and its slicker repertoire of apps, arguably better power management, etc. But after switching over to the Note II a couple of weeks ago, I have to say that it's a joy to use. Power management is markedly improved; size is just a little bit better with the revised aspect ratio; and performance is crisp. And while ICS made navigation easier and everyday settings and controls more accessible, Jelly Bean offers still more refinements in operational usability (e.g., something as simple as access to "silent mode" directly from the home screen pull-down or by holding the power button for a couple of seconds). I'm delighted with this device.
