And the shot across the bow is fired... Intel wants its share of the big server and small specialized server markets.

I also think that some enterprising companies out there building HPC solutions will look to the Atom to power highly parallel workloads or as a control level for GPUs.

Time to think big and small at the same time.

How much does a complete system based on this new Intel compared to a complete system based on ARM? I feel like this is very important detail, without this it is hard to tell if Intel has a competitive low end product. On the surface it sounds good. I also wonder if we will see WIndows Server 8 for ARM based servers anytime in the near future?
