re: Internet Of Things: Coming To Pool Near You?
Hi Chris, I enjoyed your article. I wanted to point out that Pentair Aquatic Systems was the pioneer in the area of remote Internet control and monitoring of residential pools and spas. We launched our ScreenLogic product in 2006 with a PC application and followed up with free iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch apps in 2009/2010. ScreenLogic interfaces are an add-on to our popular EasyTouch and IntelliTouch control systems and give users full local and remote control of their backyard swimming pool and spa environment. You can read more about it here:

We're seeing new titles in this digital revolution, new responsibilities, new business models, and major shifts in technology spending.
