re: 7 Enterprise Mobility Predictions For 2013
Michael, youG«÷re on the money regarding MDM enterprise adoption in 2013, especially your comments about G«£device managementG«• largely being replaced with terms such as information management. The fact of the matter is that using MDM to manage the growing wave of personally-owned but corporate-connected devices is a lot like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. As you mention, while traditional MDM features are part of a strong overall enterprise mobility strategy, it does not cater to the needs of IT when it comes to devices that they cannot (or will not) completely manage. ThatG«÷s why here at Symantec we offer a complete solution that includes both MDM and MAM capabilities.
