re: Problems I'd Like Disney's New Tech To Solve
Great article. I have been to Disney a few times and am always impressed with their information management and ability to move people around and track them efficiently. I must say, however, that I've stayed at All Star Movie, Polynesian, and Coronado resorts. The All Stars are great, including the food courts, and the buses are never crowded. When we go back, we're staying at another All Star Resort. There's also nothing stopping you from taking the monorail to the Polynesian to eat or using their pool. Just sayin.

re: Problems I'd Like Disney's New Tech To Solve
Spot on, Laurie! We are planning a large family reunion trip (20+ people) to Disney this upcoming spring. Some of us are on property, some not. We saw the news about MyMagic+ and we were excited, but now we see it may or may not be available to everyone. Huge headache and Disney risks angering a large portion of the 30m who visit the parks if they don't make this program available to everyone.

InformationWeek's IT Perception Survey seeks to quantify how IT thinks it's doing versus how the business really views IT's performance in delivering services - and, more important, powering innovation. Our results suggest IT leaders should worry less about whether they're getting enough resources and more about the relationships they have with business unit peers.
